GMA at AIMA’s 10th National Leadership Conclave 2025
Goa Management Association (GMA) participated in the AIMA’s 10th National Leadership Conclave, held on 15 April 2025, in New Delhi with Mr Deepak Bandekar, Chairman of GMA, and Ms Rina Barreto Shankar, Executive Committee Member of GMA, attending the event, engaging with industry leaders, policymakers, and distinguished professionals from across the country.
AIMA organised its 10th National Leadership Conclave at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. This year’s conclave theme was ‘India Next: Growth, Innovation and Responsibility.
Organised annually, the conclave serves as a premier platform for dialogue on India’s evolving leadership landscape. The event convened diverse leaders from industry, government, and civil society to deliberate on India’s trajectory towards sustainable growth and innovation. Keynote addresses and panel discussions focused on topics: leadership for a new era, India as an innovation economy, growing as a major power in Asia, artificial intelligence and resilience in the new world order. This event convened over 400 delegates to deliberate on India’s trajectory towards sustainable and inclusive growth.
The conclave commenced with opening remarks by Mr Shrinivas Dempo, Past President of AIMA and Chairman of the Dempo Group of Companies in Goa. The conclave facilitated interactive sessions, including fireside chats and Q&A segments, allowing delegates to engage directly with speakers. These interactions fostered a collaborative environment for sharing ideas and forging partnerships aimed at driving India’s growth agenda.
While the Inaugural Session was addressed by Sister Shivani, sessions during the day included key speakers like Mr Nitin Gadkari, Mr Jyotiraditya Scindia, Mr Amitabh Kant, Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Mr Pranjal Sharma, Mr Sanjiv Bajaj, Mr Yezdi Nagporewalla, Mr Sanjay Singh, Mr Nikhil Sawhney, Mr Yezdi Nagporewalla; Mr Vineet Agarwal; Mr TV Narendran; Mr Abhishek Singh, Mr Sandeep Singh, Mr B Utkarsh, Mr Vikas Swarup, Mr Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Mr Sunil Mathur, among others. There were also interesting Fireside Chats with Mr Sanjiv Puri and Mr Sachin Pilot.
A significant highlight of the conclave was the release of the AIMA-KPMG Management Capability Development Index for India. AIMA also presented several awards and fellowships at the event.
As an affiliated Local Management Association (LMA) of AIMA, GMA continues to actively participate in national-level management events, reinforcing its commitment to fostering professional excellence and business leadership in Goa.
